Opportunity for Women Entrepreneurs with Cartier Women’s Initiative Award

Here is an opportunity for women in business globally (Africa obviously included) with the Cartier Women’s Initiative Award.

Cartier is looking for exceptional women in business for the 2015 Cartier Women’s initiative award between now and February 27th this year 10.00 am Paris Time(CET). This is a business plan competition with aim to support creative, financially sustainable and responsible women-led businesses in all sectors of business world-wide.

The award grants  six honourees by geographical location, being Latin America, North America, Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East & North Africa and Asia-Pacific. Each will receive a year of coaching, US$20 000 in funding, valuable networking opportunities and of course, media exposure.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order for your business project to be considered for the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards, it must satisfy all below criteria:

  • An original for-profit business creation
  • Between one and three years of operation
  • The main leadership position of the business must be occupied by a woman
  • Any woman of any nationality, industry or country can apply
